How Do I Market My Business Online?
The first thing any marketing guy will tell a business owner is to create a blog and update it frequently with highly targeted 'articles'. Creating a blog is simple and highly effective at promoting a business online, however, it's much too time consuming for the average business owner to keep updated.

To get started right now follow the directions below:

1) Sign Up for Link Gateway
a. Sign up at Link Gateway
b. Confirm email address (check your junk mail folder!) and Sign In.
c. Click on Account Settings.
d. Enter the requested information including time zone and schedule.
e. Open up a text file on your desktop.
2) Create Blog Accounts
a. Start Here
b. Copy and paste each User Name, Password and URL to a text file.
3) Create RSS Feeds
a. Start Here
b. Copy and paste each RSS feeds to a text file.
4) Complete Configuration
a. Sign in at Link Gateway
b. Click on Account Settings and then one or more blog services.
c. Enter your blog details created in Step 2, time zone & post schedule.
d. Click on 'RSS Importer'
e. Paste a RSS Feed URL created in Step 3 and press submit.
f. Set your RSS feed to active by clicking on the lightswitch icon.

Upon completion of the above steps, the RSS feed that you created and imported into Link Gateway will begin creating Bookmarks as new items are found. As Bookmarks are created, the schedule that you set will begin posting those Bookmarks to the Blog or Blogs that you chose.
To expedite the process you can install the Link Gateway toolbar and navigate to your own web site or other related but noncompeting web sites and you begin creating Bookmarks manually. Any 'Public' Bookmark that you create will be posted to your Blog based upon the schedule you have set.
Alternatively, you can click on 'My API' and then copy the 'Magic Code'. The Magic Code is placed in the footer of your web site and will import each link on your web site into your account as a new bookmark. Finally, if your web site has an RSS feed you can use that in lieu of or in addition to a Google Alert RSS feed.
